General Purpose
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Guest Relations Associate to join our team at our Bison Ridge Recreation Center. In this role, you will work under the supervision of our Recreation Coordinator - Facilities or Recreation Supervisor - Facilities to provide exceptional service to all guests visiting our facility.
As a Guest Relations Associate, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the Front Desk, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, greeting guests, and providing accurate information about our services and programs. You will work closely with other team members to ensure a positive, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
To be successful in this role, you must be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be accountable, flexible, and adept at conflict resolution. You should also have experience operating Windows PC and computerized cash registers.

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range is $16.48 - $19.03/hourly.

Minimum Qualifications
GUEST RELATIONS I
High school diploma or equivalent.
Cash handling preferred.
Customer service preferred.
PC computer knowledge and skills in Windows and MS Office.
MS Word and ACTIVE experience preferred.
CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred; required within three months of hire.
Bilingual preferred.
GUEST RELATIONS II
Includes all of the above, plus:
Minimum one-year cash handling experience.
Minimum one-year customer service experience.
Holds or is pursuing a degree in Recreation or related field.
Recreation Center Membership: Employees are eligible for a membership to the Commerce City Recreation Center for $5.00 per year.
Golf Course Green Fees: Employees can play the City's award-winning Buffalo Run Golf Course at a rate of $9.00 for 9-holes or $18.00 for 18-holes. Employees can also purchase golf merchandise at discounted prices.
Benefits: The city monitors the hours worked for seasonal and variable hour employees. In the event that they work more than 1,560 hours within the ACA measurement period, they will be offered health benefits.
Wellness: Employees are eligible to earn up to $100 for participation in various wellness activities offered by the City throughout the year.
Eligibility for Pay Increases: Employees are eligible for a pay increase around the time of their annual appraisal following a successful evaluation.
