**Description**
**What you will be accountable for:**
The Wheelhouse Inventory Controller and Production Scheduler is responsible for all Wheelhouse Inventory both raw and finished from receiving, storing, staging and properly accounting for inventory tracking and moves thru QBPs software systems. This position also does the scheduling of production in conjunction with the Wheelhouse Operations Manager and the Production Leadership team to keep the wheel production lines operating at peak efficiency. This role reports to the Wheelhouse Production Manager, is a key position in the Wheelhouse department and is part of the Wheelhouse Production Leadership team.
* Responsible for efficient storage and flow of raw materials. Receives materials ensuring they meet spec and preps materials for the production team to stage materials for assembly.
* Maintains inventory accuracy by periodic cycle counting, using best practices for picking and put-aways. Works to resolve discrepancies in inventory.
* Build a working production schedule to meet fill rate guidelines and efficient assembly based on the production forecast.
* Leads and trains Production Associates and other Wheelhouse employees as directed to ensure best practices are followed on inventory control and scheduling.
* Leads by example: A strong team player and team builder who ensures production operates efficiently, upholds production quality and a safe working environment, and keeps production flowing smoothly.
* Be a technical resource for Production Associates
* Creates a high-performance, professional, and fun work environment. Treats others with respect and empathy.
* Participate with the Wheelhouse leadership team to pursue best practices for wheel production through continued optimization while maintaining best in class quality. Help to build a team vision, production goals, track metrics and create expectations.
* Learns all the duties of production and can fill in when needed, act as backup for the key positions in the department.

**What you need to succeed:**
**Qualifications-**
* Minimum high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
* Minimum one year experience in inventory control, High Jump pick, move and put-away skills and functional SAP software skills .
* Proven leadership team experience including process improvement skills, problem solving skills and working in a fast-paced collabrative environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prefer proficiency in MS Office software.
* The ability to occasionally lift 30 70 pounds
