General Statement of Duties

This is an Open Pool Position, when an opening occurs the Hiring Manager will contact applicants from this Pool Position.

Instruct individual and group clients about exercise, fitness, and the basics of nutrition. Represents Mount Fitness in a positive manner

Responsibilities

* Designs and /or instructs exercise program for members and registrants to our programs;

* Demonstrate capability of advanced program design for special populations;

* Oversees the safety of clients and members in their programs;

* Administers fitness assessment testing according to Fitness & Wellness Guidelines;

* Maintains confidentiality of all client information;

* Assists with cleanliness and order in the weight room and cardio vascular areas;

* Exhibits professional demeanor and attire at all times: acts a roll model for the fitness Center;

* Assists in the training and development of other personnel at mount Fitness attends workshops and/or seminars to maintain certifications;

* Participates in promotional demonstrations for Mount Fitness: acts as an ambassador to the community for exercise programs at the Fitness & Wellness Center;

* Other duties deemed necessary by the Director and/or Assistant Director of Mount Fitness.

**Job Requirements:**

* Certified or certifiable in Personal Trainer/Exercise Science or other approved credentialing organization;

* Certified in CPR/AED and First Aid from approved credentialing organization.

Salary: $13.75-$31.70
