Description / Position Overview

SEASONAL - Administrative Assistant - Pikes Peak - America's Mountain (PT Administrative Support)

In this position, you will provide clerical and customer service support for Pikes Peak - America's Mountain.

Normal work hours will vary based on department needs. At least one weekend day will be required, and work hours will be between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Up to 32 hours per week (may work additional hours as needed). Total hours worked will not exceed 1,500 annually.

This position is expected to end at the end of September.

This position is located on Pikes Peak - America's Mountain in Cascade, CO.

Essential Job Functions- the basic job duties an employee must be able to perform:

  • Answer questions about Pikes Peak - America's Mountain and the Pikes Peak Region including what to see and do in the region
  • Assist with the new reservation system by answering questions, making reservations for those who are unable, answer phone and chat messages
  • Track customer contacts and questions and identify any concerns or process improvements
  • Point of contact for walk-in customers
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
  • Knowledge of modern office technology
  • Knowledge of proper English usage, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • Knowledge of Adobe software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
This position requires you to be highly motivated with exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Successful candidates will have

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Customer service experience
  • Possess a valid, non-probationary Colorado driver's license not subject to restriction related to alcohol and/or drug violations or pending charges
