Description

  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide services based on the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and other related criteria appropriate population in his/her assigned area
  • Maintains required core competencies.
  • Complies with set Policies and Procedures (i. e. name tag, dress code, parking, smoking, etc.)
  • Serves as a resource for clinical staff in employee health issues and GCRMC policies and procedures.
  • Responds to requests for information/assistance in a timely manner.
  • Maintains house wide Employee Health policies and assures review/revision annually.
  • Adheres to infection control practices.
  • Manages and control fiscal resources within department budget and according to hospital guidelines.
  • Directs the operation of hospital employee health program.
  • Maintains and keeps current all employee health files.
  • Directs employee exposure program according to regulation
  • Works with Medical Director to assess risks related to individual exposure situations. Maintains appropriate exposure documentation.
  • Conducts post-offer history and physical interview with new employees, determines immunizations status, orders appropriate pre-employment testing.
  • Directs program for annual physical testing of all employees.
  • Chairs the Wellness Team
  • Maintains active role in the facility s Workers Compensation Program.
  • Maintains active role in the facilities Employee Assistance Program.
  • Supervises employees on Modified Duty Program.
