Purdue University Global offers term by term, non-tenured teaching appointments to qualified individuals who are dedicated to providing quality educational experiences to students in Associates, Bachelors and Master's degree programs. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals to work in a professional learning community wherein faculty contribute to and engage in instructional best practice for adult learners in an innovative, nontraditional university setting.
****Our Opportunity:****
The mission of the on ground, part-time adjunct Nursing Instructor, regardless of the curriculum, is to provide the student(s), our customer(s), with the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain entry-level employment in the field of their chosen program of study. To accomplish this mission, all instructors will utilize their talents, skills, and abilities in a coordinated and consistent team effort under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Education/ Dean/ Program Chair, or his or her designee.
Successful candidates in this role will reside in the Lincoln, NE area or within a commutable distance. A Master's degree in Nursing is required.

* Provide an engaging learning environment by hands-on activities and with open and timely communication
* Provide students with appropriate guidance regarding academic excellence
* Partner with advisors and leadership on student concerns, resolution, retention, and outcomes.
* Participate in institutional assessment and curriculum review.
* Remain current with trends, techniques, and technology.
* Maintenance of a professional development plan.
* Additional duties as may be assigned by the School.
****What We're Looking For:****
* Master's degree required.
* Active, unencumbered state RN licensure.
* Higher education teaching experience is preferred.
* Exceptional computer skills. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
