Our law practice is seeking a full-time Legal Intake Specialist to join our team at our Jonesboro location.

The right candidate should be friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented. You'll speak with prospective clients, empathize with them on the details of their cases, and manage new client onboarding and data entry. Legal experience is not necessary but is helpful. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Experience handling telephone calls in a fast-paced, high-call-volume work environment is preferred. The right candidate must also be comfortable with working in an Office Location by themselves. Responsibilities

Create an empathetic personal connection with potential clients to let them know we care about them and their concerns
Determine the nature of cases and ask the appropriate questions needed for an attorney review
Present attorneys with information needed to determine if the caller's case will be accepted, referred to another firm, or rejected
Facilitate communication between attorneys and potential new clients
Send and receive agreements for representation
Provide necessary follow-up on pending intakes
Complete referrals to other law firms
Assist with routing calls to office staff
Set appointments for potential clients that meet our criteria to keep our lawyers' schedules organized and grow our caseload
Organize paperwork and perform data entry in our case management system to streamline new client onboarding and current client files
Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed, including transcription, research, spreadsheet management, and email writing to ensure operational efficiency
Survey potential clients to determine the right fit with our practice, while listening to all phone calls in an empathetic manner
Coordinate awareness initiatives and foster relationships with other attorneys alongside the marketing team in order to help grow our prospective client base

Qualifications

Sales or customer service experience highly valued
Possesses outstanding communication skills and sense of empathy
Previous legal experience highly valued
Firm knowledge of spreadsheet and data management, as well as computer skills
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Full familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel proficiency
Solid data entry, spreadsheet management, and computer skills
CRM and case management software experience a plus
Background in the legal industry preferred
