**Job Description**
Enthusiast Enterprises is a fast-growing collection of related businesses selling aftermarket wheels, tires, suspension, and accessories direct to consumers via online channels. We offer an exciting entrepreneurial environment for a qualified individual looking to join our dynamic SD Wheel team as a Buyer reporting to the Senior Buyer, this is an integral role within our strategic growth plan. The Buyer will be responsible for onboarding new vendors, curating assortments, vendor relationship management; market competitive awareness/actions, suggests pricing actions and tactical buying through purchase order creation; inventory management; monitoring of ongoing usage/demand.
**Job Duties**
* Work interdepartmentally to develop strategies for onboarding and curating new brands and assortments
* Gather data and product needed to catalog assortments
* Reviews inventory/stocking levels daily and issues purchase orders accordingly
* Use historical and projected sales trends to forecast monthly production demand & on hand positions
* Leverages management input to ensure department targets are achieved to maximize profit margins
* Identifies potential suppliers, request quotes, analyzes cost, and makes supplier purchasing decisions
* Works with suppliers to issue purchase orders; follows up and expedites as necessary
* Assists in developing and managing supplier relationships to accomplish inventory goals
* Tracks slow moving product and works with suppliers to return product
* Supply for multiple locations if necessary
* Attends department, functional meetings as necessary as a key team member to elevate the supply chain branding and positioning within SD Wheel
**Requirements**
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
* Powersport or Automotive after-market experience preferred
* Extensive experience in prioritizing and organizing work activities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within set deadlines and timelines
* Sound knowledge of cost control functions to perform cost control processes and make appropriate business decisions for multiple assigned projects
* Familiarity with designing procurement processes, inventory, project management, and computational abilities to perform accurate calculations
* Business-level skills in MS word, Excel & Google spreadsheets - gathering, analysis with use of pivot tables, formulas, sorting/filtering & reporting of data through tables and charting.
* An analytical, critical thinking approach to work is highly regarded
* Maintain organization in work with strong attention to detail
* Must be willing to step into different facets of the business to promote growth of the organization
**Minimum Requirements**
**Education**
* Bachelors Degree in, Engineering, Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field
**Experience**
* 3-5 years of Procurement experience
* Experience with NetSuite is a plus
* Automotive or Powersports after-market experience preferred
**Expectations**
* Onsite preferred
* Partial remote acceptable
**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday serving as primary work week. As required to support the needs of the business; additional work hours may be required with team.
