Job Description
As a graphic designer at SWD, you will be responsible for designing mailers, creating materials for branding, and developing various marketing collateral that aligns with our company's branding strategy. You will work closely with the marketing and digital teams to ensure visual consistency across all platforms and mediums, helping to effectively communicate our message and engage our target audience.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Design and create mailers, brochures, and other print materials for marketing campaigns
- Develop and maintain consistent branding across all visual communications
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling digital assets for websites, social media, and email campaigns
- Assist in the development of company branding materials including logos, business cards, and promotional items
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and meet project requirements
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and projects
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into design work
- Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high quality and timely delivery
- Prepare and present design concepts to stakeholders for feedback and approval
- Maintain an organized library of design assets and files for easy access and reference
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience with branding, print, and digital design
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented work style with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of web design (HTML/CSS) and UI/UX principles
- Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation for digital marketing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Creativity and ability to generate innovative design solutions
- Strong analytical skills to interpret design briefs and data insights
During the interview process, we will request a portfolio submission showcasing your projects, including branding, landing pages, offline designs such as direct mail, and other relevant work.
Location: 3711 South Mopac Expressway Bldg. 2, Suite 175, Austin, TX 78746
Commitment: 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm.
Compensation: Starting salary range is $60,000-65,000. Also included are full medical/dental/vision benefits, 401k plan with company match, a generous PTO schedule, and 11 paid holidays including your birthday!
