As a Tax and Estate Planning CPA, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive financial solutions to clients. Your responsibilities will encompass tax and estate planning, preparing tax returns for individuals, closely held LLCs, and corporations. This position is ideal for a CPA with approximately four years of relevant experience.


Key Responsibilities:

Tax Planning:

  • Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies for clients to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Analyze clients' financial situations to identify opportunities for tax optimization.
  • Keep abreast of current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide up-to-date advice.

Estate Planning:

  • Assist clients in creating and executing estate plans to preserve and protect wealth for future generations.
  • Collaborate with clients and legal advisors to establish wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments.
  • Offer guidance on gift and inheritance tax strategies.

Tax Return Preparation:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, closely held LLCs, and corporations.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of all tax filings.
  • Resolve any tax-related issues and inquiries from clients and government authorities.

Client Consultation:

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide ongoing financial guidance.
  • Offer tax and financial advice tailored to individual client needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients in all tax and estate matters.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of client financial data and tax-related documents.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant tax regulations and report any changes to clients promptly.
  • Conduct internal audits and quality control checks to guarantee accuracy and compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Approximately 4 years of experience in tax and estate planning, and tax return preparation.
  • Proficiency in tax planning and compliance, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with tax software and financial planning tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
