Job Overview

TE Connectivity is seeking a candidate for a state approved Apprentice Mold Maker program. The selected candidate will need to show mechanical aptitude but will receive training in all necessary mold making principles through this 4 year program. This position is located at our Pegg Road facility.

Responsibilities:
Candidate will participate in a four-year, 8,000-hour state approved apprenticeship program that consists of on-the-job training as well as related studies.
Apprentice will apply learned knowledge of mold design and construction to machining, layout, assembly and conditioning procedures to complete tasks.
Will be responsible for mold assembly / disassembly, PM, change over, troubleshooting, and tool making related to molds and mold tooling.
Additional details about the apprenticeship program and our facility will be provided during an orientation meeting to be communicated after indicating interest in the position.

What your background should look like:
Hard working and self-motivation is a must.
Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with co-workers on other shifts.
Print reading, machine shop skills and demonstration of mechanical aptitude are a plus

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $$36,480-$45,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
