Wanna talk about our culture in our department, is a very caring culture, we are a team, we care about the patients, the families, the physicians, all the team members at the hospital. We work closely with the nurses, the therapists, the patients, the families, to ensure that they transition to a very best situation possible for that family, and the patient. We work together as a team, we try to support each other through all the difficult times, sometimes, that patients and families and each other have. **Position Description**

Provides nursing assistance and patient care for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists patients with activities of daily living and performs procedures for physical hygiene and comfort of patients. Performs duties within the construct of a unit based, self directed, multidisciplinary patient care team while sharing various tasks with other licensed and non licensed members. Performs general clerical and reception duties according to needs of patient unit or department. Position is characterized by preparing and maintaining patient charts, transcribing physician orders, and entering information into computerized patient care system.

Position Requirements

**Position Requirements** 1. Listed as a CNA on the GA Registry, OR

a. Graduate of a U.S. Military Medic course, OR b. Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program and Certified as a Registered Medical Assistant. If eligible, must obtain certification within 30 days of hire, OR c. Enrolled in a School of Nursing and has completed one (1) full semester of clinical rotations, OR d. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Medical Degree program e. GPN or EMT with one year experience with relevant training and experience 2. Current BLS card (CPR)

**License/Certification Requirements:** No

**Work Hours:** 7p-7a

**Weekend Requirements:** Yes
