Our client is one of the largest privately held shopping mall developers in the USA. They currently have a need for a General Manager to oversee their regional mall in Poughkeepsie, NY. The General Manager role is critical to the success of our client's properties. From helping coordinate center leasing to managing operations, building community goodwill and implementing center development strategies, every part of the General Manager s role is built around maximizing the center s profitability while ensuring its health, vibrancy and longevity. In this entrepreneurial role, the General Manager will also help shape the developmental strategies for the center in coordination with the development teams, including managing potential right to build activities, land control, municipal incentives and construction representing the owners to tenants, governmental leaders and the public. The General Manager will not only support the corporate leasing team, but also pursue leasing deals both regionally and nationally as part of their role and effort to fully lease the center.
IDEAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Bachelor s Degree in Business, Finance or related field
Self-starter, Entrepreneurial drive
Team player hungry for success
Minimum of 5+ years' experience in Shopping Center Management, Marketing, Retail Multi-Unit, Hotel Industry or General Business
