Business Development Manager

Manufacturer is looking for a hunter mentality business development person to build new business and expand existing client business.

Business Development Representative Duties / Responsibilities

  • Build and foster a network of leads
  • Generate and develop new prospect accounts
  • Use sales management software tools to track KPI including sales calls made, number of prospect contacts made, and presentations given
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms and prepare sales order forms and /or reports
  • Manage schedule efficiently with physical visits to prospects and clients
  • Assist in creating RFP responses to prospects

Outside Sales Manager Requirements

  • Five years of B2B sales experience
  • Candidates for this job MUST have manufacturing experience and extensive CRM experience
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed to accomplish goals and objectives
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Know and apply industry standards including UL325, F2200, ASTM F2656; keep up to date on trends and news from the industry, our competitors, and our target market
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals and meet sales quotas
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time management
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication, listening, and presentation skills
  • Valid driver s license and reliable vehicle
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software

Job Type: Full-time

  • Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year - 2% Commision
