Job Summary
The Campus Monitor enhances student achievement by maintaining a safe environment for students and staff. This is a full-time position reporting to the School Principal and the Campus Monitor/Security Supervisor.
Requirements / Qualifications
AA or BA preferred
Successful urban high school security experience; experience in the area of security/police work
Demonstrated skill in communications and inter-personal relationships, teacher support and consensus building and problem solving
Spanish fluency a plus
Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
Professional attitude and appearance to meet school standards
Physical ability to lift light objects, to kneel, to bend and to reach overhead
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Fingerprint and tuberculosis clearances as required by law
