Our client is an organization in the greater Columbus area looking for an Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client is looking for someone with accounting experience and a willingness to learn.
The salary range for this position is $55k-65k.
The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling customer accounts.
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with established deadlines.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
The Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate or bachelor s degree in accounting preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work on-site with hybrid flexibility on a per-needed basis.
