Title: Logistics Manager
Are you a skilled logistics manager looking to take the next step in your career? DSJ Global is currently seeking an experienced candidate to oversee operations and manage a large team within the chemicals space at our site based out of Indiana. This is a permanent role.
Responsibilities for the Logistics Manager:
- Manage day-to-day logistics and operations activities on-site
- Develop strategies, policies, procedures and systems that optimize costs while improving quality standards
- Oversee inventory management across all product lines
- Fleet Safety
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including safety protocols
Qualifications of the Logistics Manager:
1) Must have a College Degree in Supply Chain / Chemicals
2) 10+ years' experience managing complex supply chain/logistics functions preferably within chemical industry.
3) Strong leadership skills - ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively; Ability coach employees towards continuous improvement initiatives;
4) Exceptional communication abilities (written & verbal);
5). Understanding transportation regulations / freight forwarding practices would be highly desirable;
