Adult & Child Health is an integrated healthcare provider in Central Indiana. We are a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center and a Federally Qualified Health Center look alike; we strive to provide the best in healthcare services. About this role: In this role as an experienced finance executive, you will provide thought leadership on complex accounting issues and oversee accounting and business operations of multiple legal entities. You will mentor and guide finance and operational staff in an organization growing organically and through M&A. The ability to build consensus and communicate well at all levels of the organization is critical. Thorough understanding of and ability to apply GAAP accounting standards is required. Large company experience is preferred.

The Location and hours: A&C is based in Central Indiana. For this position, you will be in our office located off of Madison Ave. in Indianapolis, IN; just outside of Greenwood. Core working hours for Adult &Child Health are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm M- F.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for leading implementation and integration efforts as it relates to best accounting processes and practices.
  • Oversee assigned entities and help drive proper GAAP financials and board/operational reporting.
  • Develop financially related training appropriate for finance and operational teams at all levels.
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
  • Understands and facilitates the strategic direction of the organization and encourage participation by all associates.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to all aspects of services provided.
  • Take an active role in monitoring the identification, development, and execution of strategic objectives.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or business-related field with a minimum of 10 years' experience
  • Large company experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license in state of residency with an acceptable driving record.
