Job Details

SUMMARY

Assist the Sr. Human Resource Manager & HR Generalists with various tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, data entry, other HR duties and administrative tasks.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support with employee inquiries, providing exceptional customer service in all interactions
  • Set up pre-employment background checks & drug screens
  • Conduct onboarding of new hires and temp-to-hires
  • Escalate employee issues or other matters to Corporate HR
  • Support Sr. HR Manager w/WC, FMLA, benefits queries, open enrollment
  • Assist with temp agencies in bringing on new members
  • Support Operations Manager in various HR related administrative duties
  • Perform various projects, tasks or duties as needed / assigned


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years consistent Human Resources experience is required
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
  • Must have strong knowledge of employment and labor law in California
  • Prior experience with I9/E-Verify and pre-employment tasks required
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills a must
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus; Microsoft Office required
  • Knowledge with compliance required, i.e. FMLA, COBRA, FLSA, etc.
  • Experience with benefits and open enrollment required
  • Experience working with temp agencies
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality / discretion in all workplace and HR matters
