The Sales Analyst will be a key contributor to the company by supporting and partnering with the Commercial and related teams to profitability and grow the business. The role will also engage with sales, marketing, and operational leadership team on developing and maintaining rolling sales forecasting plans, weekly and monthly updates on revenue estimates/scenarios, as well as coordinate such plans for SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process. Discuss monthly results, and recent trends, as well as assist in forward-looking actions related to forecasts to the management teams.


The person in this role will also have strong financial and general business acumen and play a key role in developing and implementing the company's financial and strategic plans and formulating their financial plan, fiscal budget, and forecasts. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about the organization and develop relationships with finance, sales & marketing, and other business leaders across the company. This role is a hybrid working system that requires two days in the office and three days working remotely.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


Sales Responsibilities

  • internal, and external pricing levels, proactively flagging intra & inter-channel conflicts/opportunities, and customers whose pricing is abnormally high or low
  • & communicate recurring customer opportunity reporting, including order confirmation rates, lost sales reports, missed opportunities, chargebacks, etc.; Work cross-functionally to minimize chargebacks and increase fill rate
  • and assess customer contract terms, identifying recommendations to improve sales and/or profitability
  • assess all Price Governance submissions for preliminary CCO buy-in
  • and maintain templates for customer MBR/QBR/YBR; Populate content to facilitate meetings
  • and maintain customer, cohort, and channel scorecards
  • In Stock Not Online (ISNO) SKUs on key accounts, and identify & distribute obsolete lists by Customer
  • Customer Master list, including email contacts for corporate communications
  • to manage & evolve with things such as the customer awards process and holiday gift process
  • & Manage approvals for Warranty Returns and Stock Adjustments
  • the sales/operations/product teams with things like but not limited to, auditing customer catalogs, identifying assortment expansion opportunities by customer and cohort; identification, remediation, and tracking for Biggest Losers SKU s; monthly POS data reporting
  • as a key Finance Dept contact for projects involving Sales and Operations by providing data, reporting formats, and analytical/decision-making advice and support to managers at various levels.


Financial Responsibilities

  • with the Operations leadership team on direct labor effectiveness, KPIs reporting, and analytics and help guide labor demand planning
  • variance analysis, budget development and forecasting, and monthly management presentation preparation
  • areas of opportunity and process improvement in areas of responsibility
  • statistical and operational data to draw a correlation between periodic sales and operational results, providing greater insight and decision-making abilities to senior management
  • produce, and analyze key commercial/sales metrics (KPI's). Manage development of financial models; conduct benchmarking and process analysis across multiple business segments
  • and suggest improvements of all current commercial/sales processes and systems and provide assistance to automate processes and implement;
  • in various ad hoc financial analysis, financial systems and process improvements, and special projects.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree; Accounting, Finance, or Economics or related discipline or equivalent work experience, required.
  • 3+ years of related professional work experience, distribution and e-commerce experience preferred.

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • experience with exposure to complex internal reporting and analytical processes and exposure to executive leadership;
  • to distill complex financial information to effectively communicate financial and accounting concepts to people with non-financial backgrounds;
  • knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis;
  • initiative, follow through, and ability to manage multiple projects with keen attention to detail and deadlines;
  • ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive and proprietary information;
  • in Microsoft Office, financial software applications, highly proficient in Excel; SQL experience, Power BI experience preferred;
  • in being able to work with different teams, particularly Sales and Marketing/Product Management, in addition to Finance, Operations, and other departments as required
  • with analyzing and presenting large volumes of complex data
  • abilities to assess the reasonableness of information collected/provided, identify trends, provide comments and recommendations
