Our client is a Family-owned, German Premium Cosmetic & Personal Care Company. For their US & Canada office based in Chicago they are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Brand and Media Manager to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for adapting, localizing & executing the global marketing & brand strategies developed by the center of excellence for product development, marketing, and brand management in Germany. The candidate must be result-driven and have a proven track record of achieving business objectives, specifically in marketing & branding of FMCG products/ brands in the ecommerce funnel. Offline retail experience is highly appreciated.
Responsibilities:
- Adapt, localize & execute brand & marketing strategies developed by global brand management in Germany to drive sales growth for our brands & products in the US market.
- Manage the company's brand identity in the US and ensure consistency across all marketing channels.
- Develop and manage the company's media plan, with a focus on online marketing and TV advertising campaigns, in collaboration with our in-house digital marketing/ media agency in Germany.
- Develop and manage relationships with key media partners and agencies in the US to drive sales growth.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to optimize performance. Present campaign results to internal stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop and manage the company's budget for marketing and advertising initiatives in the US.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in brand management and media planning, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of online marketing channels, content platforms and TV advertising.
- Experience in marketing FMCG products in the ecommerce funnel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and result-driven approach.
