Job Description:
We're seeking a tech-minded Analyst with accounting background for our client. This hybrid role, based in the Bay Area, offers the perfect balance of remote and on-site work. If you have one to five years of experience in financial systems and accounting, along with some ERP experience and are looking for a full-time career with growth opportunities, we want to hear from you! This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with the potential to grow into a higher-level role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consulting and advisory services to external clients on technical projects, including:
Corporate IT architecture, systems integrations, and data management/stewardship
Systems implementation support, such as SAP ERP implementations
- Provide consulting and advisory services to external clients on corporate projects, including:
*Company ramp-up strategies and objectives for newly formed subsidiaries
*Corporate finance and procurement processes and policies
- Serve as a local project manager on client IT systems-related consulting projects
- Develop new software, workflows, and processes to support client growth objectives
- Become an expert in internal/affiliate technical applications and software
- Serve as a financial accountant for internal financial processes
Requirements:
- Must have 1-3 years of prior experience in at least one the following fields:
*Corporate Accounting
*Public Accounting
*Corporate Finance
*Financial Planning & Analysis
*Actuarial Science
- Must have prior experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) system landscapes and accounting/finance concepts
- Must have technical abilities in system integration or ERP implementation, data structures, and/or programming languages (Python, SQL, VBA, etc.)
- Must have strong communication skills in both technical and operational contexts and pixel-perfect attention to detail
Enhancements:
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Mathematics
- Prior development and/or project management experience in corporate continuous improvement projects
- Knowledge of German is an advantage
