Job Description:

We seek a Full-Time, experienced Senior MBSE Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a U.S. Citizen with more than 5 years of professional experience in systems engineering and a strong foundation in MBSE methodologies and tools. This role involves leading the integration of MBSE practices into our systems engineering processes to support the development of complex systems across defense, aerospace, and technology sectors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of MBSE strategies to support system lifecycle processes from concept through design, development, verification, deployment, and operation.
  • Utilize MBSE tools (such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, or IBM Rhapsody) to create, analyze, and manage complex system models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system models accurately represent stakeholder requirements and system architecture.
  • Facilitate model-based requirements analysis, system architecture design, and verification and validation activities.
  • Develop and maintain SysML/UML models to document and communicate system designs and interactions.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers in MBSE methodologies and tools.
  • Stay abreast of MBSE practices and technological advancements, and integrate innovative solutions into systems engineering processes.
  • Support business development efforts through technical presentations and contributions to proposals and technical documents.


Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
  • More than 5 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on MBSE.
  • Proficiency in SysML/UML and experience with at least one MBSE tool (Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody).
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
  • Professional certifications in Systems Engineering (INCOSE CSEP or MBSE).
  • Experience in the defense, aerospace, or technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
