As a premier global leader in the chemical manufacturing industry, we are in a period of significant growth and are seeking a forward-thinking Plant Manager to oversee our operations at the Greater Olympia, WA site. Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership Excellence: Direct and integrate the efforts of teams across Safety, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure effective and unified management.
  • Strategic Vision: Formulate and execute strategic plans that support our expansion goals, ensuring these strategies are understood and adopted across the organization.
  • Safety and Efficiency: Champion a premier manufacturing environment through the development and enforcement of rigorous safety standards and operational protocols.
  • Operational Oversight: Lead operational enhancements by defining clear goals, promoting accountability, and facilitating departmental collaboration.
  • Financial Acumen: Assess operational results against expenses to enhance financial outcomes and optimize resource use.
  • Leadership Development: Display leadership qualities that prepare you for future senior roles within our company, highlighting an ability to handle increasing responsibilities.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in the chemical, oil & gas, or a similar manufacturing sector, with a track record of managing significant organizational changes such as expansions or mergers.
  • Skills: Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills; proficient in team management, mentorship, and motivation. Demonstrated ability in promoting a positive and proactive work culture.
  • Attributes: Highly organized with a commitment to continuous improvement and Lean principles; focused on delivering high-quality results with a strong emphasis on operational excellence and efficiency.
