A leading medical manufacturing company is looking for a talented and experience Manufacturing Manager to join their team in Omaha, NE. This individual will be responsible of all operations in the injection molding department complying with safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities:
- Direct molding department operations to meet top safety, environmental, production, quality, and cost standards.
- Manage molding team's talent, overseeing training, development, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Set strategic direction for molding technology, planning and executing strategies.
- Lead molding department technically and administratively.
- Actively engage in annual budgeting and monitor spending.
- Develop and implement molding process technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with product development, design, and marketing for process technology advancements.
- Maintain close contact with internal and external customers to understand needs and expectations.
- Perform other duties as needed to support business operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Plastic Engineering, Science, or related field
- 5 years of experience in molding
- 5+ years of experience leading people
