RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment.
* Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
* 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Brazes (bonds) together components to assemble metal parts as specified by layout, work order, or blueprints, using hand torch. 2.Connects hoses from torch to regulator valves and cylinders of oxygen and specified fuel gas, acetylene or natural. 3.May melt and separate brazed joints, using hand torch or furnace, remove and straighten components, and re-braze joints to repair misaligned or damaged assemblies. RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs bench and machining operations. Constructs, fabricates, and develops machining techniques and assists in design of new compnents and mockup castings. 1. Builds machined parts from drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions. 2. Plans and lays out machine operations involving intricate set ups and sequences. 3. Makes cutting and forming tools for performing special machine operations. 4. Constucts tools, fixtures, and devices maintaining close tolerances, fits, and finishes. 5. Sets up and operates machine tools, grinders, and other special machines as required. 6. Order shop supplies and general maintenance of equipment. REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate with two years Post secondary training as a general machinist or equivalent. 2 plus years of general machine shop experience or equivalent. Experience using CNC programing equipment.

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Must be able to perform preventive maintenance on the machines as specified.
Must be able to produce parts that meet required specifications.
Must be able to perform precision measurements that could include knowledge and application of process control techniques.
Must be willing and available to work overtime as required by production needs.
Must be able to use various measuring equipment.
