Job Details
Day to Day:
- Coordinate all front office functions, including addressing customer's needs organizing workflow, making adjustments to assignments & Inventory Management.
- Serves as a phlebotomy resource to clarify ordering & specimen's issues.
- Oversees training of new employees & clinical students in a meaningful, effective manner.
- Managers & processes MethCare Outreach specimens in a timely fashion. Resolves problems related to specimens, orders & supplies. Resolve issues related to MEL accounts.
- Works with LIS analyst to resolve any IS/IT related issues including Fax transmissions.
- Strictly adhere to National Patient Safety Goals, HIPAA Guidelines and AIDET Expectations.
- Interacts effectively with Physicians, Patients and other Support Services. Responds to customer's concerns and comfort positively. Answers phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 1+ year experience in a lab environment
- Minimum education - HS Diploma
- Demonstrated oral & written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal & leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently in a team environment.
- Energetic, self-motivated & driven.
