JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- May answer a large call volume and then assist the user and/or transfer the call to an appropriate party.
- May perform input of information including account maintenance to certain computer and FIS systems.
- May perform certain FIS security functions and network security functions such as unlocking and/or resetting passwords.
- May perform certain functions including set up of accounts in FIS systems such as Internet Banking.
- May review new or updated deposit account information including IRAs.
- May perform certain functions needed to distribute customer information for internet banking customers, ATM/Debit Card customers, loan customers etc.
- Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE- Position normally requires a high school diploma or GED plus such practical knowledge and skills as would be learned on the job and through training.
- More than one year of experience is typically required to demonstrate proficiency in assigned tasks.
- Excellent PC skills and keyboarding ability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of FIS data processing system.
- Refers questionable matters to management.
WORKING CONDITIONS- Works in a call center atmosphere. Environment may be noisy.
- Works under close supervision until proficiency in carrying out assigned responsibilities is demonstrated.
