Mon - Fri: 8 AM - 5 PM, Alt. Saturdays 9-3 (40 Hours)

Summary/Objective:

The Mortgage Servicing Team Member is responsible for ensuring the input, auditing and maintenance of all mortgage data.

**Essential Functions:**

* Answer incoming phone calls, as part of a phone queue, to address member questions and requests

* Input and book all mortgages on the DCU's servicing platform, quote and accept payoffs, and respond to various member servicing inquiries and requests.

* Perform file maintenance duties including, but not limited to: discharge research and preparation, loan corrections, subordinations, credit disputes, research GL variances, and loss draft processing

* Complete assigned service requests within the established department timeframes and effectively communicate with members as needed.

* Assist and support functions for loan boarding and preparation of documents for loan sales

* Process department inbound correspondence receive through e-mail, fax or standard mail.

* Perform support functions to ensure all closing and post closing processes are complete.

* Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.

* Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s).

Education and Experience Requirements:

* High School diploma or equivalent

* 1-3 years mortgage or related experience

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

* Technical skills (word, excel, outlook etc.)

* Professional written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier/scanner, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
