Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensures machinery is cleaned and sanitized properly to minimize downtime.
  • Follows the master sanitation schedule.
  • Assure the monitoring, collection and interpretation of waste data on a daily basis as it pertains to the system operation.
  • Complete a powered industrial truck inspection at the start of each shift or as needed for equipment changes during the shift.
  • Continuously lift a maximum of 50 lbs. while performing other essential job functions.
  • Ensures proper safety, good manufacturing practices, product quality and sanitation processes are followed according to Ateeco, Inc. policy.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
  • Maintains the daily required Quality Assurance and Sanitation paperwork.
  • Must be able to endure the temperature variation in all areas of the plant throughout the entire shift.
  • Notify the Shift Supervisor, Sanitation Lead Person and/or Maintenance Personnel of any mechanical malfunctions or subsequent problems beyond regular operator troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Operates powered industrial trucks to facilitate the completion of other essential job functions.
  • The ability to stand for 10 hours, climb ladders and work in other high areas.
  • Disassembled the manufacturing equipment to clean and sanitize all food contact machine parts.
  • Placed cleaned parts on conveyors or racks for drying, reassembled and set-up manufacturing equipment for 1st shift start up.
  • Add specified amounts of cleaning chemicals to equipment at required times to maintain solution levels and concentrations.
  • Drain, clean, and refill batch mixing machines and cook / chill tanks at designated intervals, using cleaning solutions or water.
  • Measure, weigh, and mix cleaning solutions, using measuring tanks, and other calibration devices.
  • Examine and inspect manufacturing equipment for proper reassembly after cleaning and to detect malfunctions prior to production start up.
  • Use high pressure hoses to clean and sanitize equipment and other surfaces
