Front Office Manager

Location: Montrose, MN

Part-Time: 25-30 hours a week

The Position:

The Front Office Manager is responsible for the effective execution of several front office responsibilities, including shipping and receiving, and inventory tracking, among other tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Shipping and Receiving
    • Creates packing lists in Sage system.
    • Sets up and coordinates freight with logistics companies, suppliers & customers.
    • Generates bill of lading.
    • Creates packaging labels.
    • UPS & FedEx shipments
    • Sends tracking information to customers.
  • Greets drivers and verifies shipment paperwork.
  • Verifies packing lists against PO's and invoices.
  • Sets up new jobs in Sage system, verifies that PO's and quotes match.
  • Logs employee hours on jobs (time tickets).
  • Sets up new customers in Sage and collects required paperwork.
  • Files packing lists and job travelers.
  • Manages customer portal for receipt of PO's and shipping product.
  • Performs other office tasks and assignments as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Three years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Must exercise and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
