About the Role: As the Vice President of Business Development, you will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive business strategies to bolster business growth and enhance market presence. This position involves identifying new business opportunities, cultivating partnerships, and increasing revenue streams in alignment with the company's strategic goals.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development and implementation of business strategies to secure new partnerships and business opportunities globally.
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, potential partners, and industry leaders to expand business reach and market influence.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Drive the negotiation and closure of agreements with new business partners, ensuring alignment with the company s strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to align on business strategies and optimize the introduction of new technologies to the market.
  • Manage and mentor the business development team, setting objectives and reviewing performance to ensure high levels of motivation and achievement.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, public speaking events, and networking meetings to enhance business visibility and strategic engagement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the electric vehicle market and technological trends to effectively position the company as a leader in the field.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that business development strategies are integrated with company operations across multiple regions.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Vice President of Business Development or similar executive role with a track record of successful business expansion and partnership development.
  • Strong ability to identify and develop new business opportunities in the energy or technology sectors.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with experience in contract negotiation and deal closing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of driving team performance and fostering collaborative success.
  • Deep understanding of market analytics and the ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at all levels within an organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing environments.
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field; MBA preferred.
