**You would make valuable contributions by:**

* Exhibiting profound knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and software.

* Effectively and efficiently using logical thinking and problem-solving skills while handling multiple priorities with varying time restraints.

* Demonstrating interpersonal skills and proficiency in business vocabulary to effectively represent the company.

* Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skills to translate technical knowledge into actionable directions for employees.

**Your job-specific tasks would also include responsibilities such as:**

* First responder for all issues related to internally developed software.

* Utilize existing service desk request system to analyze and prioritize issues, requests for assistance, troubleshooting, and processes.

* Maintain ownership of application issues until resolved.

* Monitor, evaluate, and address system-generated emails, exceptions, and requests as appropriate.

* Administer user accounts and access privileges of internally developed software.

* Escalate issues to software developers or senior IT staff when appropriate.

* Interface with internal and external users to implement solutions.

* Update and maintain a knowledge base of common problems and resolutions.

* Setup users and hardware as needed.

* Assist with training and testing as required.

* Adherence to company security policies for the creation of user accounts and access privileges.

* Proactively identify recurring issues and research options to resolve them.

* Other Duties as assigned.

**Application Support Specialist Skills/Requirements**

Minimum qualifications include:

* Minimum 2 years working with LockNet proprietary software applications highly preferred.

* Ability to document, analyze, track, and communicate testing results.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Adept at troubleshooting using various methods to deduce root cause and suggest resolutions.

* Ability to present and translate technical information in a way in which end users can easily understand and developers can quickly take action upon.

* Ability to learn new applications and testing tools.

* Ability to learn basic SQL query commands.

* High attention to detail and the ability to move from task to task as called upon.

Minimum physical requirements include:

* Frequently required to walk, stand, sit; and reach with hands and arms

* Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
