Construction Estimator

ARTC has an immediate need for a Sr. Project/Construction Estimator for a world-class Energy client based out of Philadelphia! This person will provide project controls estimating support for high-voltage infrastructure projects, such as Transmission & Distribution Lines, Substations, etc. You will be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle and collaborating with key stakeholders in Engineering, Project Management, and Construction departments.

Responsibilities

• Attend bid meetings, develop & execute bid strategy, and lead construction takeoffs.
• Identify project scope, schedule, and budget challenges in early stages and devise solutions to ensure the successful execution of projects & programs.
• Create Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) estimates & assumptions with confidence factors spanning from project study to construction phases.
• Integrate project actuals into estimating methodologies to foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project estimating experience for Transmission & Distribution and/or Substation Construction projects.
• Knowledgeable of construction takeoffs, estimates at completion (EAC), actuals, work breakdown structures (WBS), etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
