We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Gastonia, North Carolina. This role is within the manufacturing industry and involves managing accounting functions for two separate P&L that are consolidated to the parent company. The workplace is equipped with an older MRP system and Epicor P21.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing all accounting functions for two separate P&L
Ensuring accurate consolidation of P&L in P21 to the parent company
Utilizing the older MRP system and Epicor P21 for various accounting tasks
Managing manufacturing cost accounting in line with industry standards
Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Leveraging accounting software systems to streamline processes
Resolving any discrepancies or issues related to the accounting functions
Collaborating closely with HR and Benefits departments
Monitoring and managing the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
Providing insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
