Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of cleaning supplies janitorial, PPE, packaging, office, and food service supplies to B2B customers throughout the Midwest. They help in creating a custom portfolio of the products. With the experience they have been building since 1984, they know a lot about the products and solutions. They provide the lowest cost-efficient recommendations that meet business needs.


POSITION PURPOSE:

As a valuable member of the sales team, the Outside Sales Representative is essential to the growth of our business through outbound sales activity. This position s role is to drive revenue by managing and growing business with existing accounts while actively prospecting new clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop a territory growth plan and provide updates on progress vs. plan via CRM.
  • Secure prospective client appointments via participation in targeted prospecting, drop-offs, cold calling, and other selling strategies (i.e. marketing lead generation).
  • Prepare for appointments by executing prospective client research, tailoring sales materials, and leveraging available resources.
  • Meet with prospective clients to secure their business. Execute appropriate follow-up client meetings to complete the sales process.
  • Meet client timelines and deliverables for service via close coordination with operation stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned including participation in company meetings, communication, and events.
