PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must comply with all aspects of safety and be extremely safety conscious
Have troubleshooting skills in the following areas: Primarily Electrical, PLC's and pneumatic & hydraulic controls.
Pipe fitting and installation (air lines, water piping, electrical conduit)
Willing to work weekends and odd hours as required
Able to follow a routine schedule of preventative maintenance on machinery
Able to read and follow schematics, parts and instruction manuals
Great problem solving/decision making skills
Team attitude and ability to work with team members
Safely Operate and run, any power tool in shop

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Prefer mechanical and electrical knowledge, vocational trade school or work experience in the maintenance field
Must be able to work comfortably at heights
Ability to read/write/communicate in English
Required to effectively communicate equipment issues (before/during /after shift) (shift to shift / dept. to dept. / trade to management)
Self-starter who works effectively without close supervision
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
On occasions, required to work in extreme conditions (hot/cold/rain/noise)(indoor/outdoor)
May be required to frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs. as well as push/pull carts
Hand dexterity and strength
Overtime is required, including weekends and holidays sometimes with little or no advance notice
May be required to work a flexible schedule
It is an essential function of this position that you report to work on a regular basis
This is a full time position on 3rd Shift.
