Staff Accountant-Knowledge of QuickBooks - Apex Testing Laboratories

Apex Testing Laboratories, Inc. is looking for a staff accountant to join our team in our San Francisco office. This person will manage all accounting procedures to ensure Apex Testing Lab's overall financial health.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail and deep knowledge of regional laws/regulations.

Responsibilities:

Account Receivable: Preparing Invoice, payment tracking and collection
Account Payable: Review vendor invoices and process payment
Bank Reconciliations
Assist in Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly end closing
Assist in payroll processing using ADP System
1099 recording and processing
Additional Task based on organizational needs

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Strong math skills
Deep knowledge of accounting principles
Excellent written and verbal communications
Ability to handle information confidentially
Proficiency in Quickbooks, Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel
Proven experience meeting regular deadlines
A willingness to learn new tasks
Dependability and punctuality
