Who you are:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) for Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you have the perfect blend of patient-facing and technical skills. Your calm demeanor combined with your subject matter expertise in Nursing allows you to give the patient an excellent experience while completing your patient care.
This is a Night Per Diem position, working on an as needed basis to provide you with an option to be employed on a casual basis. In a 6 week time period, you are required to work 32 hours, 24 of those on the weekend. 12 hour and 8 hour shifts are available.

What you'll do:
Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status based on interview, examination and review of clinical data.
Employing your critical thinking skills to solve problems and achieve patient outcomes
Demonstrate proficiency in assessing, responding and adapting plan of care to meet the needs of the patient population served by the CMC.
You will serve as a mentor for your team
- You'll have the opportunity to join various clinical committees to help drive exceptional care and create positive outcomes for our patients
This unit is a 23 bed Beacon award winning Cardiac Medical Unit. The unit serves a diverse population of acute patient conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, CVA, DKA and medical conditions requiring telemetry monitoring and/or cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Amiodarone and Nitro.
Qualifications What you'll bring: 1+ years of experience as a RN
Experience in an acute care setting is highly preferred
Current unencumbered RN license in the State of N
American Heart Association BLS certification required
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred
BSN strongly preferred
