**Description**
We are seeking a ***Senior Manager, Analytics Delivery & Architecture*** to join our data leadership team and in this meaningful role, you will champion all aspects of the architecture, development, architecture and delivery and management of our business intelligence (BI) platform! Working with team members in our other data pillars, you will lead the advocacy, adoption, and training on the use of data and data assets within our BI ecosystem.
You will also lead and mentor Data Analysts and BI Developers, and solidify the standards and shown practices within the BI platform.
This role can be based out of our Vancouver Corporate, Toronto or Chicago Office. We love our office and the setting it provides for celebration and teamwork. But we also appreciate the opportunity to work remotely can energize you too, so we do offer flexible arrangements.
****What Youll Do:****
*Thought Leadership*
* Identify and translate internal or market opportunities into useful recommendations to achieve individual, team, and company objectives and goals.
* Advocacy and adoption of the use of our BI platform.
***Technical Functions***
* Introduce and implement new technologies and processes including data visualization/analysis tools, data democratization, and self-service reporting.
* Establish and maintain best practices in development, administration, and BI architecture.
***Logistical Functions***
* Ensure our BI systems are available, updated, patched, and secure while delivering outstanding uptime and performance.
* Setup and carry out a support model for our BI platform.
* Handle and maintain reports, dashboards, measuring usage and utilization, consolidating and deprecating as needed.
***Team & Leadership Functions***
* Lead a team of Analysts and Developers, that are a mix full-timers, contractors, and third-party vendors.
* Part of the Data leadership team with D&A in operating the D&A practice.
* Be responsible for the BI SDLC process in collaboration with PMs and other data team members.
* Lead the overall design and maintenance of our analytics assets (BI layer).
****What Youll Bring:****
* A degree in computer science, MIS, engineering or related equivalent
* At least 10 years of Business Intelligence development experience on various BI tools
* At least 5 years in data leadership roles (architect and management)
* Extensive experience in Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, and Modern Data Architecture
* Experience working within a Data Governance framework and MDM solutions
* Strong SQL and data analysis skills
