Adjunct Faculty, Lecturer of Aviation Technology
ABOUT THIS POSITION
Summary: Part-time faculty are needed to teach courses in Aviation Technology. Qualified individuals will have expert knowledge in one or more of the following: Instrument Flight, Aviation Physiology, Aviation Safety, Crew Resource Management, Mountain Flying, or Air Traffic Control. Duties include teaching and assessing students. Preference given to those with related industry credentials. All classes will be taught in-person.
Adjunct faculty at CMU are part-time employees who are hired on an as-needed basis. Required Qualifications:
Associates Degree or higher
Aviation industry experience
The ability to earn CTE certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Flight Instructor certificate
Salary: $600.00 - 850.00 per credit hour. Adjunct faculty are paid on a per credit hour basis, commensurate with education and experience.
