Jr. Corporate Recruiter

Position Summary:

As Corporate Recruiter, you will be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting duties, including qualifying openings with the management team, posting and advertising open positions, sourcing potential candidates and interviewing. You will promote Life Cycle Engineering, create a positive experience for candidates, and ultimately, fill our open positions with talented, diverse individuals. While this can be a majority remote position, we are looking for a Charleston, SC based candidate able to come in for training and meetings as needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal management team to qualify and prioritize open positions nationwide across engineering, information technology, business, and technician skillsets.
  • Use tools and resources from JobDiva (our Applicant Tracking System or ATS) and established processes to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's overall recruiting function while following ATS process requirements and LCE recruiting best practices.
  • Ensure recruiting and interviewing processes are compliant with all state and federal laws for government contractors.
  • Continually source candidates and find creative ways to cultivate talent pipelines for niche skillsets via advanced internet sourcing, outreach, local networking, and use of social media to consistently deliver at least 100 activities, 8 submittals, and 4 interviews weekly
  • Actively contribute to our Inclusion and Diversity efforts, ensuring a diverse slate of candidates in our talent pipeline.
  • As part of the HR team, contribute to other projects and initiatives that arise for the benefit of employees and LCE.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • Prior experience preferred in a recruiting, HR, sales role or prior military service
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
  • Self-starter with high initiative
  • Proven learner
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality in all work settings and situations
  • Must have a professional presence and the ability to represent the organization in a positive manner at all times, including offsite business functions and activities
Physical Demands and Expectations:
  • Occasional travel to support onsite meetings, job fairs, etc. (<10%)
  • Ability to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance
  • Ability to use phone, computer systems, and other office equipment
  • Occasional physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs/stepstools, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds)
