We are looking to add to our Permanent consulting team and would love to have you join our dynamic team as a Controller. As a trusted financial expert, you'll assist companies during periods of unplanned turnover and engage in exciting projects such as system implementations, process improvement, and regulatory & compliance in a variety of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Assist companies in a variety of ways, including month-end close support, system implementations, process improvements and efficiencies, and financial reporting.
- Willing and able to dig into the details and be hands-on in the GL and month-end process as requested.
- Work directly with C-Suite, providing professional guidance and insight as requested.
- Manage finance/accounting teams as needed.
- Provide training and mentorship to current or new employees when necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA or CPA Preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Passion for change and learning new things
- Advanced Excel skills and a experience with a variety of ERP systems
- Experience in multiple industries
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
