We're seeking dedicated individuals to join our client's team. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in the heavy equipment industry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on off-road heavy equipment.
- Work with diesel engines, braking systems, driveline components, steering mechanisms, suspensions, electrical and hydraulic systems, and mechanical systems.
- Utilize welding, cutting, and fabricating skills as needed.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as changing oil, batteries, and lubricating equipment.
- Procure parts and coordinate equipment or trucking as necessary for repairs.
- Maintain accurate job records using tablets/laptops daily
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
- Possess a valid driver s license.
- Completion of heavy equipment repair training/education or equivalent experience.
- Mechanically inclined with a passion for continual improvement.
- Ability to think creatively and solve problems efficiently.
- Comfortable performing manual tasks and working in varied environments, including heights and uneven surfaces.
- Capable of working around loud noise, fumes, and heavy machinery for extended periods.
- Successful completion of background/credit checks and drug screenings.
