Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

POSITION SUMMARYAssist with the day-today operations of the warehouse; including donation pick-ups, processing of donated goods, inventory maintenance, setting admin fees, customer service, supervising the many volunteers from various entities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S)

  1. Assist in warehouse operations, including merchandise pickup, receiving and processing donated goods.
  2. Assist GreaterGoods staff with store processes as needed including covering the register, stocking and setting admin fees.
  3. Assist in overseeing volunteers from all entities up to and including any job skills training, etc.
  4. Help to ensure that all volunteers follow proper safety procedures.
  5. Assist in creating a working atmosphere that is customer oriented, service friendly and conducive to vocational training.
  6. Support, guide and assign work flow direction to volunteers from all entities helping in the warehouse.
  7. Other duties as assigned.


POSITIONS QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education and experience: High School graduate or equivalent and one plus years of experience.

Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Customer service skills to be able to interact with a range of demographics.

Certifications & Licenses: A valid drivers license. Ability to drive a fork lift or willing to learn.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  1. Ability to stand, walk, sit, manually manipulate, reach outward and above shoulders, speak, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend on a daily basis.
  2. Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs on a daily basis.
