Server
We are looking to hire a servers and bartenders for our new and growing business. We are a new Modern Japanese and Sushi Restaurant Located In Dunwoody, near Perimeter Mall, Located beneath the State Farm Building. We are looking for partime/fulltime help.
Server/Bartenders:
- Greeting and Seating: Welcome guests as they arrive, guide them to their tables, and ensure a positive first impression.
- Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the menu, including various sushi options, Japanese dishes, and beverage offerings. Be able to make recommendations and answer questions about the menu.
- Order Taking: Take accurate food and drink orders from guests, ensuring special requests or dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen.
- Service: Serve food and beverages promptly, following proper serving etiquette.
- Upselling: Encourage guests to try additional items or suggest complementary beverages to enhance their dining experience.
- Check Handling: Process payments, handle cash transactions, and provide accurate change. Ensure a smooth and efficient check-out process.
- Customer Satisfaction: Address any issues or concerns raised by guests promptly and professionally. Strive to ensure a positive dining experience for all customers.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure seamless coordination in food and beverage service.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including clearing tables, resetting them, and keeping the overall environment tidy.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as restaurant policies and procedures.
Bartenders
- Mikata is looking for Dynamic, Creative and Knowledgeable Bartenders with at least 1-2 years of full service restaurant experience. We are focused on precise quality service, food and beverage.
- We are a craft bar with a craft cocktail focus with an emphasis on Japanese Spirits.
- Must be able to create and curate crafted cocktails while engaging with customers seated at the bar
