Assistant Housekeeper - Graveyard


Job Details

Specific Job Functions:Maintain records including repairs needed, lost and found items, and quality of work completed by employeesInspect rooms to ensure they are up to property standardsEnsure Guest Room Attendants (GRAs) are conforming to the health laws and standards set by the propertyWork closely with the Front Desk to ensure guests receive clean rooms in a timely mannerWork with Engineering to ensure maintenance concerns are handled appropriatelyWork with scheduling to ensure proper staffing levelsManage assigned operational functions consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department, division and propertyManage and monitor fiscal budget and marketing strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability for the propertyManage the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the properties core service standards and brand attributesProvide input into research, development, evaluation, and implementation of new products, services, technology, and processes to ensure property's competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needsManage Human Resources responsibilities including creating a work environment which promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the Company's diversity commitment; compliance with Company policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreementsCoordinate turn-down services and other special requests made by VIP Services and VIP guestsControl expenses by voluntary staff reductions when necessaryInstruct employees and new hires on the products used for cleaning in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) chemical Right to Know standardsPerform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the departmentResponsibilities/Qualifications At least two years Housekeeping Supervisory experience requiredPrevious experience with Collective Bargaining AgreementsKnowledge of cleaning procedures and OSHA regulations preferredExcellent customer service skills are necessaryMust have a professional appearance and demeanor
