**Description**
We are recruiting for a Cook. This is a full-time position that will include shift rotations as well as weekend and holiday rotations. Line cook experience and therapeutic diet knowledge in a health care setting preferred. Responsibilities include: Work in Hot Production area. Prepare all foods with the use of standardized recipes; Ensure all modified diets are properly prepared; Review leftovers from food line to determine what needs to be discarded; Maintain organized work area; Follow proper quality assurance and infection control procedures when preparing and serving food; Demonstrate proper use, maintenance and sanitation of all equipment related to area of responsibility; Communicate suggestions, concerns, problems and unsafe conditions promptly to appropriate supervisor or manager; Exhibit professional courtesy toward patients, visitors, customers, and employees; Perform other duties as assigned based on departmental needs.
Must have a Washington State Food Handler's Permit acquired by first day of employment.
