Role: Structural Analyst
Client: DOD-Aerospace
Location: Palmdale, CA
Duration: 1-year contract
Hourly Rate: up to $110/hr (W2, non-benefited)
Clearance: Active Secret with an investigation within 5 years or CE enrolment.
Position Description:
- Utilizes computational methods and tools in specialized field (e.g., strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance).
- Performs pre-dimensioning computations through analytical or digital methods, assessing data credibility and results.
- Participates in creating measurement plans for tests and conducts result analysis.
Required Skills & Experience- Proficient in structural mechanics simulation software such as NASTRAN and PATRAN.
- Experienced with UNIX computer systems.
- Knowledge and experience in aircraft primary structure design.
- Hand analysis of aerospace structures
- Ability to analyze aircraft subsystems and installations.
- Capable of interpreting various types of technical drawings (detail, assembly, installation)
- Familiarity with additional tools like CATIA V5 or Siemens NX is preferred.
- Familiarity with Slim, Vision, and IDAT a plus
Required Experience & Education:Bachelor's Degree & 9+ years of related work experience is required
