JOB DESCRIPTION- Room Attendant

Summary: To perform a combination of tasks which maintains the hotel guest room in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive experience

Essential Functions

1. Provides professional and courteous service at all times.

2. Clean rooms upon request

3. Handle and complete all guest requests immediately.

4. Disinfect the entire bathroom including toilet, ensure the entire bathroom is free of hair

5. Collects soiled linens for laundering, maintain linen supplies in appropriate locations

6. Vacuum, mop, sweep guest room floor and hallways

7. Maintain and keep a organized cart properly stocked and free of trash

8. Clean all stayovers and checkout rooms in the allotted time for your property

9. Remove all trash and place in dumpster, stock cart for the next person, empty vacuum daily

10. Complete maintenance tickets for any items not working in the room, including safety concerns.

Work Environment: This job operates in a hotel environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as vacuum, mop, broom, chemicals, and Ozone machine.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms able to lift 20lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: this is a full-time or part time position, regularly requiring long hours and frequent weekend work.

Required Education and Experience:

1. High school diploma or GED certificate.

2. Customer service background.
